Thought it about time to update my profile. Its been quite an exciting year after finishing work. I loved my job (42 years) but sadly don't miss it one bit. I have had a great year. Settled into the room and tour guiding for the National Trust at Speke Hall (Tudor 1530). Big thrill a few weeks ago passing my test as a fully fledged Interpreter/Guide at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. Cannot believe how much I am enjoying guiding the many visitors. I am always in on Thursdays and now Monday's if you feel like popping in. . Finally had many great holidays with Mrs D. We are trying for 20 countries in 20 months. A few more booked in the next 6 months. We may not make the 20 but it will be fun trying. Love blip and made some lovely friendships, hope to manage a few meets next year.
