Hello and thanks for visiting. My name is Wayne and I'm in my mid 50's. I call this SE corner of Kansas home and have for the last 10 years. I emigrated to here from the U.K to start the next chapter of my life after losing my wife 4years previously to cancer.
My passions in life, after my wife and family (including the quadrapeds that share our home) are Reading, writing, photography and Ham Radio. The pictures I'll upload here will reflect my mood and location at the instant they were taken. I will not "modify" them within any software package so you get to see 'em "warts 'n' all". They will mainly be from my morning rides.

Update...
Summer 2018, Now in my early 60's and not long ago widowed (September 2017) I'm planning to move, not just town but state. I'll be off to Montana by spring 2019 (at the latest) so I'll be rejoining this terrific family with some truly spectacular images. Stay tuned.

2nd Update:
Well actually moved to Montana in September 2018 but it didn't "take" so I moved back to the 4-State area (what we call the 4-state area is Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma) in November of 2019. Now live in NE Oklahoma, about 20 miles from my previous location in SE Kansas. Looks like I'm here to stay. Couple of life-altering events which I won't bore you with here but to say I'm much more comfortable here would be an understatement. Maybe a spring trip to the NE next spring (Portland, Maine) by train from Kansas City. Plenty of photo opportunities along that trip! More later.
