My father, a landscape photographer, was the first artistic influence in my life. He has been greatly influential in my foto technique. Although it is my favorite genre, I strive to break away from solely shooting portraits. Furthermore, I tend to favor, and am in some ways even limited by my infatuation with short depth of field.

Although I venture into other artistic venues, such as painting and paper crafts, my other true love is literary composition. English, although not my native language/perspective, happens to be my weapon of choice.

In short, I am a female refugee who treasures the ability to capture people in their raw form.

"There is always at least one person present in a photograph even if no one can be seen in the frame-- the photographer."
