Originally from Liverpool, and always a Scouser, but worked for the NHS for 35 years and in so doing have done many different jobs across the North West and even ventured down South for a few years. Recently retired, I now live in Foulridge, just bordering Lancashire and Yorkshire. I have one grown up daughter and one gorgeous grand daughter. My blips are quite erratic between urban street shots during the week and landscapes whilst out walking or running in the hills at weekends...and anything else that makes me giggle or catches my eye in between.
Joined Blip after an LPH holiday in Tuscany in 2013. Never thought I'd stick with it but have. Its made me see things so much more acutely that its not something I want to lose. And I have so enjoyed and learned so much from other peoples journals from across the world. Having reached the year milestone I'm now trying to meet a new challenge...to write some words to put with an image at least once a week. I used to write a lot when younger and would like to get back to it, so this discipline and practice may do for my writing what Blip has done for my observation! We'll see !
