I moved to Narrabri, Australia from South Africa in 2006 with my husband and 2 children. My children have since grown into amazing adults and I am in awe of their wisdom, courage and maturity.
Blipfoto remains, for me, the greatest idea ever! I love the photography and the personal stories behind the photos. My main why for Blipping is the connection with my Dad (Popsicle) who blips most days too. Even though I don’t blip everyday, I never stay away for long. Even if I don't upload a photo, the lives that I follow and that inspire me and the awesome photography draws me in over and over again!
It is a privilege to be part of this community!

Update 25/10/2021: On Friday 22/10/2021, my Dad (Popsicle) passed away suddenly after a short and devastating illness. COVID has meant I am unable to be with my family at this time and it is terribly difficult.

Update 7/1/2023: on September 22, 2022, 11 months to the day after we lost my Dad, my eldest brother followed him. I am still trying to find my way through the overgrown forest that is grief. But I have returned yet again to Blipfoto and my gratitude practice.
