First of all, taking pictures is a hobby for me and not a profession, my profession is hearing instrument specialist. I test and fit hearing aids.

4 years ago I moved from the Netherlands to Canada. My dad found a new job after 22 years working at Phillips, Eindhoven. I came to Canada for holidays and actually never left.

Almost 2 years ago I met a girl named Emma, she is the best thing that happened to me so far in life. One day we went to the Toronto zoo, she had asked her mom if we could borrow her Nikon D60 to shoot some pics. After that I fell in love with the camera and the quality of the pics; previously I was using a Nexus hand held camera where the quality of the pics was not that great. So, for my graduation and birthday I asked for a Nikon D60 from my parents. Since then I have being shooting pics with pleasure.

Emma, Joel and her dad went for a ski trip to BC, I had to work :(. Her dad being a bilper, wrote every day something about the trip. This was a way for me to see what she did. Now a week later, Emma encouraged me to create a blip account and try to make every day a picture and load it up.

So here I am.
