First and foremost I am Mummy to 4 year old Freya and wife to (35 year old) Marc. Together they fill my life with all the love and laughter one needs but I have to earn a living! The career path I chose was that of a Primary School Teacher and although I love my class of 5 year olds, my original perceptions of what the job might entail could not be further from the truth!

I was inspired by a friend who has recently joined blip to record her days as the birth of her 2nd child approaches. As I too am expecting child number 2, I thought this was a wonderful way to record those early days of motherhood as they so very quickly become a haze in the distant past. I cant promise it will be the most riveting of journals, but I will try!
