I am a fifty something mother of 2 nearly grown up sons.
I have always wished I had some talent or other but I cannot paint,write poetry or play an instrument. My attempts to do crafty things with the boys when they were younger were always a bit of a flop.
So. all my photos so far have been front on, documentary style but now I want to push my boundaries and try unusual angles, different lighting, odd subjects etc etc.
I like photos of buildings, plants, scenery and abstract patterns. I'm not so keen on portraits.
update after 6 months
Many of my blips are still straight forward but a few have shown a slightly artistic flare. I do find now that I can compose arty shots in my mind even if I cannot quite get them in a picture.
