This is to be my first year as part of the National Garden Scheme, very exciting. I also wanted to record changes throughout the year and the odd note of successes and places for improvement. 

My home is in South Wales, between Cardiff and Cowbridge. Ground on the clay side.  Until 2019 the back garden was almost all lawn.  That year with the help of a local nursery owner and garden consultant Claire Jenkins of Bordervale Plants, I planted up four main beds and had a greenhouse built.
