Why am I on blipfoto? Want to try and get out and about more locally to get some snaps and this looks like being the perfect kick in the a*se that's been needed for quite some time, locally being in and around Newcastle upon Tyne. Mind you, precious few of the photos I've uploaded to date have been 'local'.

If anyone cares, I use a Konica Minolta Dimage X50 P&S and a Sony a100 DSLR (18-70mm and 75-300mm kit lenses) depending on which I have with me at the time.

Anyhoo, once I get up and running, feel free to peruse and comment at your leisure. Some photos I know you'll be indifferent towards, others I reckon you'll probably hate whereas some I hope you'll love.

I've re-awoken an old flickr account I had many moons ago to store blips that didnt quite make it or things that I've been playing with, such as HDR befores and afters, colour alteration, general (basic) photoshoppy stuff.
