Hi there...

Well, my name is David and I live and work on the beautiful Isle of Mull - part of the Inner Hebrides, off the West coast of Scotland.

I've been taking photos since I was a wee boy, using my parents' camera initially, until I progressed to my first camera, a Praktica BC01.
Since then I've dabbled with Olympus, Nikon, Panasonic and am now finally settled on Canon.
I still do a bit of film photography with an old Nikon, but it's digital all the way now - sign of the times really (hats off to those of you who still use film, there is a certain look to it that's nice).

Anyway, I've been enjoying my time here on Blipfoto; the people are really friendly and the comments are very helpful and fair.

PS I'm also on Twitter:  dyc_mull and you'll notice a green/socialist/environmental influence on there and I'll usually retweet relevant stuff from the Greens and The Guardian about what's wrong with the world - in my view anyway!
