Scared Little Boy
PM John Key called for two minutes of silence today to remember and respect the fallen in the Christchurch Earthquake. It was to be at 12.51pm Today the 1st of March, 7 days to the minute from when the quake struck.
We met up with a friend and made our way to the Octagon in Dunedin to hear the speeches and observe the two minute silence. It was overwhelming the amount of people that were there and heartwarming to be among all those caring people.
I spotted this child in his mothers arms and had to take a quick grab shot of him, the expression on his face was priceless.
It got me thinking.....
This is exactly how I am feeling, like a lost and scared child unable to comprehend just what is going on around me but knowing that Im safe.
He looked so scared and I just wanted to go up to him and give him a hug and tell him that everything will be ok.
We should all go right now and give our loved ones a big hug, you never know what be just about to happen...............
