"Best Cafe" is the best.

Mrs O and I headed into Dunedin to sort some things out. We were overwhelmed just how many people offered to help us, the feeling down here is that people want to do anything they can to help. Just amazing.
After that we went to the Best Cafe for a bite of lunch, this cafe has been on the same site since 1932 and I think the food has not changed in all that time. The fish and chips is to die for, blue cod just the way it was meant to be.

It got me thinking................

Why is it that we look to things from our childhood in times of extreme stress and uncertainty?
Is it that we want what has always been the secure thing in most of our lives, our memories?
We talk ablout comfort food but I think it just may be comfort memories that we are looking for.

P.S. The food is still the best at the "Best Cafe" and I know that I will be going back!!!!
