Orienteering

Once again I've discovered something about my local area because of photography. As it was still light when I got home, I decided to go for a wander. There is a car park just round the corner from my house & as I walked up to it I noticed this marker on a fence post. As I ventured through the woodland I found a few more & also found the foot bridge that crosses the A46. The bridge would be a great place for light trail photographs, but there is no way I'm walking the footpath alone at night.

I don't think I'll be joining the Orienteering Club any time soon, I'm just content in the knowledge that I learnt something new today.
