Frame Zero
Back in the days of 35mm cameras, when loading a new film we had to fire off two or three frames to make sure that the totally unexposed film was in position for frame 1.
After developing the film, a process and print shop would throw away anything before frame 1 but those of us who processed our own or used positive film would see odd abstracts on frame 0. Sometimes a recognisable bit of car boot interior, sometimes a part of a camera bag. Usually out of focus, at the wrong exposure and rubbish, but now and again strangely intriguing.
Here's my tribute to frame 0.
