Sunset Aberystwyth Pier

This is a much photographed scene - but what the heck, here's another one. It's been a beautiful sunny day, and I've enjoyed it. First thing this morning on the beach trying to capture oystercatchers in flight (with no great success). Then I took a walk with an old botanist friend, mostly looking at lichens and fungi, since it's still a bit early fro most flowering plants (there a few nice little spring ephemerals around however). This afternoon pottered in the garden for a bit, had a nap (unusual for me in the daytime, but I really needed it), more garden pottering, then dashed down to the Prom with a dog and a camera to catch the sunset.
