Starry Eyed Surprise

She's a lady....

and the lady is retiring.

Had a really busy day at school, lots of buzz with the bring and buy sale in the morning and then the Fairtrade Cafe Tea Dance in the afternoon. Both went really well.

I couldn't help but have 40 winks when I got home and nearly forgot that I was going out tonight.

Thankfully the shower did wonders and I was alive again and ready to go out by 6.30.

We had our meal in The Ganges restaurant and it was delish. I Love indian food.

I didn't meet Jacquie until tonight as she was off ill when I joined the staff last year.

My loss as she is quite a character, and judging from the stories circulating the tables she has a great sense of humour and a warm heart.

I loved it when we all started to sing her specially arranged 'Retiral' song 'She's a lady' but with lots of rude but funny lyrics instead.

She's got her family, loads of friends and doggy to keep her busy now so I'm sure that she won't be bored, and she might even pop in for coffee at break time once in a while.

Many congrats to Jacquie.
