I Am Free
We had an assembly on heroin today. I understand that heroin is a serious issue, especially on Long Island, but I don't think this presentation taught my grade anything. We're relatively smart people and most of us have already made our decision about drugs: JUST DON'T DO THEM! They practically told us how to make heroin...
Alyssa had to read Anthem for English and she was working on a project for it during math (we didn't do anything today...). She was writing letters to characters in the book from Prometheus' (Equality 7-2521) point of view. Because Prometheus is a man, she wanted them to look authentic so she asked me to write them so they would be in a boy's hand writing. I did and we crumpled them afterwards. I really like the I am free line because it is quite representative of the book. I was glad to help her out with this project :)
The rest of the day was uninteresting except I actually handed in an art project on time today! Too bad I still have to finish one that was due three weeks ago...
I went to Wendy's after school with Brianna, Sophie, Katie, Jess, Hayley, and Nick. Later on, I went to the diner with Brianna, Julie, Katie, and Kate. I had a good time :)
Busy day tomorrow....
I wish the picture quality was better...the underlined phrase is "I am free."
