Water of Life
...........at the asking price I'd like to think it may be more the water of everlasting life! I've never met anyone who could afford to - or would - buy a bottle of Whisky at that price. It can only be an investment unless of course you buy 2: one to keep and one to drink.
It is our wedding anniversary today. Many years of happy marriage. We decided to have a day out in Perthshire, Scotland. Off-road driving in a Land Rover Defender was first on the menu at the Activity Centre in Crieff. Great fun. Then a very nice lunch at the Famous Grouse distillery which is where we saw the expensive bottle. On to a wildlife centre then home in time for dinner. A reaally super day and so many blip opportunities. Didn't use my new camera today. I was a bit worried it might get bumped about in the off-roading so this was taken using a Lumix GF1.
And in case you're wondering, we didn't buy the bottle of 1965 Glenturret. We bought 2........ (only kidding - we got some bottles of much more modestly priced Whisky).
If anyone in blip-world is in the market to buy this bottle of Whisky please do let me know. True to the Scottish tradition of generosity we'd love to help you drink it.
