Waiting for a Prince? (L)
Went to St Andrews in the Kingdom of Fife, Scotland today. The weather forecast was for sunny intervals. I counted 2 ansd they lasted for about 3 mins each so all of the photos we took had a milky grey sky as the backcloth.
There was a bitterly cold wind which is not surprising for St Andrews in early March. That made it all the more interesting to see this keen student studying on the steps of one of the University buildings. Or perhaps she was braving the elements waiting for the next Prince William to pop along. With only the seagulls and the odd passer-by to keep her company she could be in for a long wait since Wills has now been snapped up by Kate. Most of the cafes we passed seemed to have a poster in the window claiming that this is where 'Wills met Kate'. Romance is clearly in the air in this seaside town.
The town was busy even this early in the season. We met some folks from Quebec, Canada who have a Bernese Mountain Dog like ours. He caused his usual stir with folks wanting to say 'hello' and came back home with half of the West Sands attached to his coat. It's always a great day out in St Andrews so thanks and here's to the next trip (when its warmer).
