Complicity

Today, it's Fasching at nursery. The kids had been looking forward to it for a long time and Lilli was delighted to be allowed to race to nursery on her scooter wearing a Belle princess dress which I could only ever dream of as a child (thank you Disney for providing us with these beauties and lifting the weight of those mothers' shoulders like myself who couldn't sew anything to save their life!). Sam got to wear his normal clothes plus a pirate hat - and he was very happy to get his face painted.

I love this picture because they were both so proud and actually wanted their picture taken, and then this hug came along and it was really intimate. There is love there, somewhere, despite all the fighting...
