Eye of the Anchor
Boys playing rugby, North Berwick. You have to be optimistic about Scotland's future prospects when the lads are playing rugby for fun. This bunch were throwing their ball through the eye of the anchor - admittedly missing most of the time, but persevering.
I have loads of good shots from today as I cycled to North Berwick for the Uprising Acoustic Evening. On the way, a funny sign at Bonnington. Arriving early in NB, loads of scenery. At the gig, literally hundreds of photographs to sort out before I publish any.
And what a night! St Andrews Church was once again a perfect venue for a line up of amazing ('mazin!) artists. There were 2 highlights for me personally - first Izzy's band because I've known her for many years and she's all grown up now and what a voice! Then the last band from Humbie who were just amazing. The others were great too, but the energy the Humbie boys and girls generated was "totly mazin!"
Iain made it too, but feeling poorly. So the planned boy's night of mountain bike videos, moaning about women and drinking loads of wine didn't happen. Ah well, life is long.
