Undivided attention
Went to see the Steve McCurry Worlds of Colour exhibition in the Gallery of Photography in Temple Baaaah.
Pepe and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
No matter how many times one may have seen images in magazines and exhibition catalogues, they really come into their own in print and in big format.
Even in a crowded and rather small gallery, they pack a powerful punch.
If it weren't for the sacerdotal obligation of blipping daily (once the wow has been taken there is no turning back...), one would be tempted to pack the camera away for good, having been terminally humbled by the work on display.
Thankfully the terminality of the humblism lasted no more than 15 minutes as one managed to take a most pleasing shot of Luca acting the bollix in Temple Bra.
A very tiring day it was too. Taking the 3 of them on the train when they are on a sugar high is no small feat.
