Ripples

Lazy lazy day. I didn't get out until almost dark and then it started to rain. The wind has blown the sand on the beach into ripples and I thought that the gentle undulations and abstract quality fitted my mood perfectly. I don't know where the red colour comes from, but somehow the red grains separate from the yellow grains and we get this nice effect. I might go back with my macro lens, but I dare say the the sand will have rearranged itself by then!
