Birding? what us?

Whilst eating breakfast I caught Rocket and Radar birding, that is they were watching birds in the garden wishing them to fall into their mouths.

Radar in particular loves to stalk birds, chickens included, which is a bit of a problem in our garden with 4 chickens and lots of wild birds feeding from the bird table. Only Little Red Hen saves the rest of them by pecking and chasing Rocket and Radar around the garden if they chase the other hens.

Both dogs love to pick up feathers and bring them inside, where they usually begin to start fighting over them and chewing on them for hours on end.

Radar had been known to walk around the perimeter of the garden on her hind legs, whilst she intensely searches all the bushes and trees for birds. When she does this we call it birding with intent to commit birder.

It's only a matter of time.......
