Beautiful girl

Today is Mummy's birthday. I woke to a surprise, that my sister was treating me to a haircut at a nice salon near them and that she'd babysit for Katie, then take us out for coffee afterwards. The whole thing worked really well. Katie was as good as gold - slept in fact for most of the time. We had a very nice coffee - complete with cake of course.

We spent the early part of the afternoon out in the garden - it was the first time Katie played out. It was a beautiful spring day, nicer than any we'd had in a while and she loved it.

Mid afternoon, Grandad, Granny and Uncle Simon came round, with presents for "Mummy". Little did we know, how important this day would be - for today was the day that Katie met Monkey.
