Wood Shavings

After lunch I went down to my workshop to make some wood shavings. The shavings were actually a byproduct of the boards I was planing to fit on top of the ledges along one side of the shop. The board my plane is resting on is for the ledge visible behind the top of the bandsaw.

I was really enjoying myself -- I was using one of my special tools for the first time in months -- and pine is so easy to work with. It's also very aromatic, and evokes memories of hiking and camping in the forests.
