This is for Nora

Our friend Nora made "Robert's Kitty Book" as Bob's 1st birthday present. It is a beautiful book and Bob has enjoyed it since he was a baby.

To kick off the Parent Assisted Reading Project, Bob's school hosted a breakfast and invited children and parents to read books together. Among the books Bob chose to bring was "Robert's Kitty Book." It is the first time he has been able to read this book on his own. How wonderful it was to see him do that! I thought Nora would get a kick out this picture :-)

We met Nora through a mutual friend who recommended her as a pet sitter for our crew while we lived in Texas. Although I had warned her that Faye does not come out for pet sitters, Faye crawled on her lap to be petted the very first night. Once chosen as worthy by Faye, Nora was destined to become a great friend.
