Happy Pancake day!!!

My mood has been lifted by pancake day!
Doing it traditional here with sugar and lemon!!
Kitchen looks like a bomb sight but I will deal with it tomorrow.
Pancakes (The thicker ones) always remind me of my gran. When my sister and I used to stay over at grans you were guaranteed pancakes and maple syrup for breakfast!
She used to make shapes for us too: Cats, whales, Mr blobby.
I remember sitting on the worktop watching her and eating raw batter! Amazing how memories can be so wrapped up in food.
