Cooper's Hawk

I walked down the trail, paused to look around me and to my great amazement this hawk was sitting on a tree limb almost right over my head. I had walked under him before I spotted him. Then he sat there and posed until I had taken about 10 shots.

A second high point today happened when I spotted some daffodils that had been covered with snow that has pretty much melted. I will blip them when they bloom. At the moment they are just lovely green and yellow shoots , but boy do they look beautiful.

Today was the most spring-like day we have had so far this year, and Sunday's snow is almost all gone. Unfortunately the prediction for tomorrow and Thursday calls for rain and possibly snow. That's okay though; it won't last.
