Yay! Inset Day!

Another Inset Day that was a bit of a last minute surprise to me... Anyway, had a lovely walk over the common this morning with the boys and the dogs. Basil seems fine today so maybe it was the sand at Iron Hill that aggravated things yesterday. We're now back home following a trip to the Post Office on the way back to collect my newly delivered Dublin River Boots, and I'm spending the afternoon locked away in the study while the boys have various friends popping in to hang out. I'm cooking them sausages for tea - last time the sausages actually caught fire, which the boys thought was pretty cool. If nothing else it gave me the opportunity to demonstrate how to put out a fire with a damp tea towel!
