A Pair of Cheeky Monkeys

Having fun at Monkey World .

I'd love to show a photo of them together, but it's impossible to take a photo of two 16 month olds in which one of them isn't blurred.

Sam has got a nasty virus and is a bit grumpy as a result; we thought about leaving him behind at the adoption centre, but then he did something cute and so we decided to keep him after all.

We also celebrated Sarah's birthday today by having an impromptu picnic in the car-park of the aforementioned ape rescue centre; (the boys were asleep. I always swore I'd never have a picnic in the car park and I've already had 2 this holiday. That's parent-hood for you).

Anyway, after suffering a tragic middle-class disaster "the home-made gravad-lax has leaked over the Audi and I've buried the Global knife too deeply in the picnic hamper" we clawed it back from the edge and toasted Sarah's special day in style. Well, kind of.
