Confession time

Yes it might be Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent and the run up to Easter but tonight I enjoyed my first taste of the Reid family Christmas cake...

We just never quite got round to icing it before Christmas and Mr R only completed the job at the weekend.

Anyway, I'm sure the cake is all the better for that maturing time...I certainly enjoyed it.
