Ceiling Sliver

Here's the suspended wooden ceiling starting to fill across the space and cover up the MVHR pipes and the electrical cables.

The fitters are a lovely trio of brothers who are taking immense care to get it just perfect for us. It's been tricky working out how best to fit the boards to work well with the minimal window frames and the track for the sliding oak shutters.

Next week they will move outside to continue the boarding out under the roof overhang.

We designed it so that the ceiling flows out into the landscape and the floor will also be flush with outside.
