Sports Day

Athletic sports today. The whole school, from Year 1 to year 13 are inovlved and work through a series of events. Some of the kids are really competitive and achieve some really commendable results. Here young B is breaking his own highjump record to win the Year 7/8 competition. Well done to B and all the others who competed hard today.

As for me, I'm exhausted. It's amazing how shattering it is being the unofficial photographer and Deputy Principal in charge of crowd control! The really good bit is that over the years the job has evolved to include being the one who gives the kids their free iceblocks at the end of the day - makes me their most popular teacher for about 5 minutes once a year.
