who cares what crows say anyway?
on the list for today is a song that reminds me of someone
well, hell, how do you choose?
but then I got the right song and the right someone(s)....
"Nearly all marriages, even happy ones, are mistakes: in the sense that almost certainly (in a more perfect world, or even with a little more care in this very imperfect one) both partners might be found more suitable mates. But the real soul-mate is the one you are actually married to." (Tolkien)
this song reminds me of a very dear someone, infinitely more suitable, who reminded me of the power of real love and, in one intense and surprising moment, gave me the key I had been searching for to unlock my soul-mate
this song also reminds me of another dear someone who is currently wounded by the blows of real love and is trying to recover
and this song reminds me of the dear someone who gave me the music many years ago
warning: clicking on the link will lead you to nearly 10 minutes of something that wikipedia describes as 'hard-core punk-rock' - if you can't deal with that, leave well alone. Personally, I don't find it *that* hard-core, not this song anyway....but if you do listen, you'll get the crow reference. The choice is yours.
to the visuals....the crows were on the road again. They're always there shortly before sunrise at the moment. There's no traffic at that time of day and the tones were wonderful and there was just a hint of pink in the sky as I gently opened the curtain so I didn't scare them off....decided to change camera lens, got it on, checked settings, silently opened the window and suddenly....WHOOOSH! racing bike...birds scattered and then our morning rush hour began and the birds all went back up the trees. That's life :-)
