To have and have not

Strange day. Wonderful Sudanese lunch with Sara in the sunshine. Then got it in my head it was a nice day for a ride east. Mistake!! Once past this deserted fun park (which is one of my favourite places in Berlin!) I ventured over more canals to an area of deserted factories and even more depressing, working factories. Lots of grey, lots of pram pushing and shaved heads. Not much hope. 20km of dark and depressing scenery. I was happy to get home.

Later, after dinner with SAra, I went to Pete´s weekly movie night to watch Humphrey Bogart be told by his future wife " just put your lips together and blow". The highlight of my somewhat depressing day!!

Oh and this deserted Ferris wheel made sppoky squeaking noises in the wind, i love it but at the same time, i wouldn´t want to be here alone in the dark!
