The cowboy
I had an unexpected extra night with T tonight (it's his dad's weekend to have him) and it was lovely. He got back into his cowboy outfit, this time he wasn't a sheriff. He asked if we had any movies with cowboys in it. I said, we have Toy Story 3, with Woody! Such a great movie, I enjoy it more with each consecutive viewing.
T fell asleep while I was reading him 'Gustav the Gourmet Giant', at bed time. One of my favorites from childhood. I'm so glad my Mom saved all my childhood books. It's so cool that I get to read to T from the exact same book I used to read. I love old things, they have their own history and so much more character than new things. If I won the lotto, I'd buy antique cars and fill my house with antique furniture. New stuff is so boring and devoid of interest. Well, except for technology, I wouldn't trade my newish laptop for some old clunker.
I am back blipping (darn!) because I was so tired I went to bed right after Torin. It was a good decision.
