home on the range

is it texas, or is it thailand? had a wonderful day at watchirathan waterfall in doi inthanon national park today, before landing at this place for the evening. somewhere along the drive home, we crossed the thai border and ended up in the wild west, usa.

small farm, is the site for the friends' wedding party for the weekend. the entire "town" (hotel rooms) looks like a scene direct from a spaghetti western. yes, it was a bit hokey, but i'm sure for thai, it is a pretty neat concept. they've got horseback riding, alpaca feeding, and numerous other farm-style activities to keep one entertained.

we had a great dinner with the architect/owner of the property tonight. though most of the conversation was in thai, a great deal of the laughs were universal and thus required no interpretation.
