a break in the clouds

awoke about 4 am to take a bus up to doi inthanon - highest peak in thailand. what great fun to watch thai people absolutely frozen in 3 c weather. again, it's all what you're accustomed to.

shortly after watching the sunrise on high, headed over to kew mae pan nature trail for a nice morning hike. at the summit, the cloud cover was rather heavy, so we waited things out for about an hour as the sun cranked up the energy, lifting the fog and clouds. grabbed many photos while nestled deep in the cloud blanket, but my favorite appeared just as everything began to clear.
