Only the brave

Mrs Smith has been glued to her macbook all day furiously writing for a tight deadline so I decided to take the kids off to a science festival event at Dunbar. It was on the busy side. So much so that the organisers suggested using an overflow car park at the local Asda which was a fair old distance away. As I'd bullied the kids into going anyway so their mum could get some peace, I decided to pop down to the beach to watch the surfers doing their thing and listen to the screams of horror when they took their first steps into the water. Afterwards it was off for fizzy pop and crisps and a peek at the calcutta cup match. Home now, prized the wife's fingers off the keyboard and wrapped them around a cold glass of white wine and we'll be digging in for the night.
