Happy Anniversary Mum and Dad.

Today is my parent's 44th wedding anniversary. What an amazing achievement. It hasn't been an easy ride but they stuck it out and are both still here to tell the tale. As parents, they couldn't have done more for me and my brother. Steadfastly supportive, 100% reliable, loving and encouraging to the nth degree. They are fantastic grandparents to my boys and are always there to lend a helping hand, often driving 200 miles to be there when I need them.

So, happy anniversary Mum and Dad. may you keep on keeping on for many years to come.

I stayed at home this morning as no.2 son is ill. It has been so nice to steal some extra time with my boys but leaves me with the age old dilemma of the working mum. I love my morning job and would be gutted to not work there, but can also see how great it would be for us all if I could be at home with them before school. If only I could be in two places at once.
