Hospital

Well, today has been less than fun. My little boy seemed very poorly last night with a terrible cough and laboured breathing so I felt a trip to the doctor was needed this morning. I was expecting a dose of antibiotics, him home within the hour with Grandma and me back at work for 11.30. Instead we had a chest X-ray, blood tests, a variety of medicines bought from 3 different chemists and a lesson in how to use aerochamber. All in all 4 hours spent. Thankfully I made the choice to take him as he has the beginnings of a bacterial lung infection, so no school for him for a few days. He's well enough to be happy about that!

At least I had my trusty iPod touch camera to take some photos whilst I was waiting, nothing too inspiring however. This is a view of the corridor whilst waiting to see the doctor.

The photo I would have liked to post I couldn't actually take as I was driving. That was the all too common sight of a family of 3 on a motorbike, dad at front with helmet, mum at back without helmet and baby sandwiched in the middle flopped to one side sleeping. It makes your blood turn cold.
