Mothers Pride*

When I picked evie up from school - she was beaming with pride and armed with a certificate, a cushion and a badge.

She had been awarded the Pride of School in assembly that morning.

Me, Jeanne and Lily are SO proud of her. She got the award for being 'kind and sharing'...

...her teacher came out to speak to me and said to me "We could give it to her every week, she's such a delight"

The little lady in question is fast asleep now, with her head on her cushion. She posted her own blip about it today and she got a lot of lovely comments on twitter praising her for her achievement.

Since being on my own with the girls I believe even more that "It takes a village to raise a child" and the pleasure evie got tonight from seeing positive comments from people who have never met her lends a little credence to this.

So proud of all my girls
