Motor Back Where it Belongs
My Taxman has been working on this '53 Chevy motor all winter long. Last weekend he managed to put it back where it belongs. The radiator and a few other things will be reattached and then it will be time to turn the key. That's what I'm waiting for. If it starts first time I'll know I'm married to a genius. Engine builders really amaze me. But then he's pretty amazed by my knitting talent. Maybe we're both weird.
I'm keeping a journal of the random things my dad says because it helps me stay sane to write them down. Today, while driving to his favorite Country Cafe (that's the name, Country Cafe), I explained that we were driving west after he asked. Then he pointed and said, "That's Alaska in that direction then, right?" I just agreed, but wanted to say that Iowa would come first.
It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter.
