1 a Day for 800 Days

Okay, I know that 800 is not officially celebrated here in Blipfoto, so I'm unofficially celebrating. I've ordered champagne for everyone, so please join the party!

Outside of the daily functions of living, I'm not sure that I've ever done something for 800 days in a row, especially something so meaningful and fulfilling. No doubt there has been an ebb and flow to my entries. Every emotion I've ever experienced has been woven through these pages. I've captured memories that I would have definitely forgot had they not been recorded here. Some days I am filled with excitement and overflowing with celebration. Then other days I sit gazing at this screen convinced that I have absolutely zero thoughts to share and a photo that's even worse.

Definitely a bonus and fringe benefit of this place called Blipfoto are the friendships developed through the commenting. This community is filled with the nicest people -- blippers. This place overflows with encouragement. Thank you to everyone for all that you contribute.

Also a subtle education happens as I learn about the geography and culture of the world as it comes to my computer screen each time I log-in to Blipfoto.

I'll always be grateful to Joe for creating this cyber-place and for his team at BlipCentral who keep this site on the cutting-edge.

Here in the U.S. "1-800" is a term we hear often and see in lots of ads, but today that term takes on a new meaning to me.
