Ladakh training

A busy bunny.

After school he was training for the expedition to Ladakh. Then home for a quick bite to eat before out to football training. Home again for a snack before out to a club Badminton match. Finally home for tea at 10pm.

Dad insisted he tried out his new sleeping bag. The deadline for setting off looms closer - does he have all his gear? Not a chance!

But we are slowly getting there.

For this shot I tried my hand at a makeshift studio. I pinned a dust sheet up against the curtains in the lounge, and used Mrs. W's reading lamp together with bounced flash.

Used filters from Skeletalmess and a filter from Topaz.

The pose was one I saw a while ago in an outdoors / camping catalogue. He looks like an giant blue slug. The sleeping bag was boiling hot apparently. That sounds good!
