...Two ladies.......

perusing the picture round in tonights quiz.

The Boss on the right and V on the left pondering the first ten quiz questions. We did ok tonight, but didn't win, the pub was wild for Paddy's night and some of the questions just didn't suit us old farts. Mind you some of then were just plain wrong, especially the one "What name is given to a wild ferret?" I don't know the answer,because the question is garbage, but I do know that the answer given was just plain bollocks,.............a pole cat........ferrets are related to pole cats , weasels and mink...but there's no such thing as a wild ferret. First domesticated by the Ancient Egyptians ferrets are totally unable to survive in the wild.

Got home tonight after another long day, with a Parent's Evening tagged on to the end to find the Boss furiously polishing a strange table! She'd been to the Garden Centre and the cafe was undergoing a refurb and selling off the old furniture.......The Son and Heir and Young Helen don't have a table and chairs........well they do now.......... an oak gate leg table and four wheel back chairs for £25.........and all they need is a good sanding down and a new coat of varnish....guess what I'm doing Saturday.. There was also a large parcel waiting for me..............unfortunately only the freebie baby monitors.


On a light note, the video for Comic Relief is ready, and its pretty funny, even the Boss thinks so. The only problem is she said "See you can bloody dance when you want to. Well there's going to be more dancing with me from now on". Not sure how you'll get to see it, school is a bit reluctant to release it onto fb or you tube. You may have to send me your email addresses so I can forward copies to you.

p.s. Guess which fellow blipper can fit a whole Milky Bar into her mouth in one go.............and made suggestive comments about it while we nipped out for a fag before PE?
