Comic relief extravaganza

Wonderful, the sun is shining at last and a good day for it too. I went to 'the shop' to deliver my red nose biscuits as my contribution to the effort made by Oxfam. There was our inspiring manageress looking for all the world like Rod Stewart's sister! Very soon some children from a local primary school came along in costume (training day in case you were wondering) to help sell the cakes and biscuits arranged on the table outside. When I left business was brisk and a crowd was gathering no doubt enjoying the weather at long last.
PS. I have to report on the lamb situation as so many of you ( and me were concerned). Sadly, the second lamb was dead, it was not properly formed and had to be removed shortly after I saw it. Apparently it is possible to have a second born after a gap of a couple of hours though maybe not usual. However, mother is very happy with the little chap she has who my friend has agreed to call Paddy!
