Out came the sunshine...

...and dried up all the rain, but this spider had packed her bags and left for the coast! Beautiful bit of shimmery real estate she has vacated I must say! Perfectly positioned between paddock and avenue for great views and maximum eating in potential.

I completely understand her recent departure. The weather has been foul with only brief episodes of respite from rain and chill over the last few days. We were promised better! The weatherman made a solemn vow...oh well! Gullible is my middle name.

On the bright side Pippi Longstocking had a lovely day at school and her plaits stayed buoyant though out. They were still bobbing happily when I collected her, thanks to some fierce gardening wire inserted craftily this morning!
